簡介：故事描寫的是1888年時(shí)英國人在Riotinto采銅礦時(shí)的情況，因當(dāng)時(shí)銅礦場(chǎng)擁有權(quán)的英國公司，使用一種最經(jīng)濟(jì)的方式采集銅礦，但這種方式早在多年前英國當(dāng)?shù)鼐图航?jīng)禁止使用，因?yàn)榇朔N方式不禁造成許多污染，也讓許多礦工因此生病，而燃燒的廢料飄至空中再隨雨水降落大地，產(chǎn)生的硫磺導(dǎo)至附近的農(nóng)產(chǎn)業(yè)也都無法生長，但英國公司只以經(jīng)濟(jì)為考量，并不在乎一床床生病的年輕童工，執(zhí)意使用同樣方式，而引致造成罷工及屠殺事件，一連串的真人真事歷史。
